المنهاج الدراسي للدراسات الاسلامية

Islamic Studies Curriculum

The aim of the graded Islamic Studies curriculum at Medway Arabic School is to help students build their Islamic character and personality. The foundations of the Muslim faith are taught and discussed and students are guided in their daily expected behaviours.  This goes hand in hand with community integration and social inclusion of Muslim children ensuring that the teachings and unique character of Prophet Mohammed Peace Be Upon Him are celebrated and followed. MAS students are not only excellent advocates of the Muslim faith, but are also active members of their community.

Islamic Assemblies are conducted after Dhuhr prayer. During Islamic assemblies, MAS students debate a Hadith from Prophet Mohammed Peace Be Upon Him or a story from the Sahaba may Allah SWT be pleased with them. These assemblies are followed by questions and answers where students explore deeper meanings of their Islamic faith and identity.
